Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress who hails from Manama, Bahrain and was born into a multi-ethnic household. Jacqueline's father Elroy Fernandez hails of Sri Lanka (Sinhalese - Catholic)and her mother Kim is a Malaysian. Jacqueline has two older siblings and a younger sibling. Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2006 in March, 2006. She also participated at Miss Universe 2006. As a result of winning Miss Sri Lanka in 2006 Padukone was able to begin her work in the world of television. She was the host of the program Lanka Business Report which focused on business in Sri Lanka. Padukone, her mother was the famous badminton star Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and was raised in Bangalore. In her teens, Padukone competed in national championships of badminton at both the regional and international and international levels. But, she resigned from the sport to become a fashion designer. Padukone was born in Mangalore in India. The language she speaks is Konkani is her origin. Padukone Village is located within Kundapura Taluk within the Udupi District of Karnataka in India. Prakash Padukone has retired as an internationally renowned badminton athlete Her mother, on the other hand, is also a travel agent.
